We bought this for a costume for a play. It was true to size and very durable. The black on the shirt is made of a pleather like material which looks cool but was hard for my son to get used to - and it was hot under the stage lights to wear a shirt under it - but is good if you need to be outside for Halloween. It looks really, really cool. It does not come with a sword or an eyepatch.

My nephew (3) loves to play dress up with his big sister but was getting a bit tired of being a princess. I got him this pirate costume for Christmas. He loved it and entertained us greatly on Christmas Day. An eye patch would have been a nice addition though. What's a pirate without an eye patch? Oh yeah, Johnny Depp.

Only downfall to the purchase is that I thought the shipping cost was quite high.

The costume runs a little small, but the next size up worked great. Great costume for a reasonable price.

My son wore this to the Renaissance Festival this year, worked great. He still wears it for playing. The pants did not last long, he still wears them, but they have runs. The emblems fade quickly. But for the price it was a good purchase and served what we needed it for.

Purchased this for my sons Pirate themed 3rd birthday party. What a great touch this costume was to making the party even more pirate like. The price was great and it arrived as expected. We just added our own eye patch, jewels, and sword. My son loved his costume so much we wore it again 2 months later for halloween and it was like he'd never worn it before. He loved every moment in it and still loves to play in it around the house from time to time. Great for money and quality.

The costume arrived on time and my son loved it. Of course there is no sword that goes with it, but they are not allowed that in school any way. Overall, the costume worked out fine, though since my son borders on having to use husky pants, the pants were a little tight, but he said he had no issues. The costume does get warm in the sun but I think that is a good thing in October.

We really liked this costume for our 4 year old! It was very comfortable for him and will be good for dress up. We put black long johns under the costume, and he was good to go. We are glad we got this costume!

I got this for my 9 year old son that needed to be dressed like a pirate for a parade float. It is exactly as shown and fit him perfectly (he's average size for his age). The only thing is that it does not come with a sword (this is mentioned in the details but other reviewers feel as if they were misled) we found one at our giant retailer for $5.

I purchased this for my 5 year for Halloween and dress up. I came in 2 days and was great. We ordered a small for my 5 year old and it fit over his clothes nicely. the shirt is stong material and looks good and the pants are very light weight, but haven't ripped yet. It cames with 2 scarfs to go with the the outfit. it does NOT come with the sword. Worth the money! My kids are still playing in it 4 weeks after Halloween

Looked really nice on Halloween but after a nights wearing the seams showed unraveling. The print started rubbing off after washing on gentle cycle.
