Many uses for this pan. Cake baked in it perfectly. No sticking and the features came out niceley. Added some bling, outlined in colors, and even gave one a 'grill', silver teeth. Add food coloring to the batter and swirl or streak. The cakes can be put on firm lolli sticks and made into a bouquet. Pan can be used for brownie mix, geletine, and even ice molds putting some wild food coloring in them. These cakes can also be stood upright and put around a cake or on top of a large cake.

The pans are well made. The skull muffins baked evenly and were fun. When using a non stick spray be certain to wipe down the pans so that the skull design shows up best.

I bought this pan with very high hopes. They definitely make cool cupcakes, the only problem is the details on the skull aren't deep enough, and I haven't quite figured out any sort of frosting you can use without making all the facial features disappear and your cupcake just looking like a weird round thing....

I still very much enjoy these, and am going to try maybe making chocolates or something with it.

I totally love these pans! I used them at Bible school. Our theme was "Adventure on the High Seas" so of course we had to have pirates! We baked skull muffins and put an icing eyepatch on them. The kids loved them!

I love to make skull brownies for Halloween or Day of the Dead. This Halloween I made 6 pouches of the Ghiradelli Triple Chocolate brownie mix from Costco and it made 55 brownie skulls. I substitute butter for the oil and add 1 teaspoon vanilla for each pouch for a richer flavor. If you use the vanilla then you need to subtract that amount from the water. (NOTE: The substitution of butter for oil does not work if you are baking in a regular pan since butter is made of 80% oil and 20% water and your brownie will turn out soggy.) My daughter has interned at two different TV networks and even the jaded entertainment people were impressed with the brownie skulls. TIP: You need to spray oil into the skull pans and wipe out the excess. You need to cool the skulls in the pan for about an hour. Don't over cook the brownies. Once they are completely cooled off then I take a flexible plastic knife and jimmy the chin to get the brownie out. Sometimes they will pop out of the pan. If it is not coming out then I jimmy the knife all around the pan and then take a plastic fork and jimmy a little more until it comes out. Last year I bought enough pans to make 3 dozen (9 pans) at a time since it takes so long too cool down. I have also used a corn bread mix and served it with honey butter. I wanted to add a picture of my rows of skull brownies but I can't find that option. I bought my first skull pans about 15 years ago and I still love them.

I have used this so many times as I am a huge fan of skulls. I bought two of them and wish I had bought more. The cakes come out really looking like skulls. I recommend using either yellow or white cakes to get a more realistic look although I did use chocolate and sprinkled powdered sugar on top which also looked cool.

I bought this pan to make cupcakes for my stepsons' birthday. He loved them. The pan was easy to grease and flour and when I popped the cupcakes out they retained a lot of their detail. My only complaint would be having 4 cupcakes bake at a time. It would go faster if the pan had more molds.

I love this mini cake pan! It makes cakes a little bigger than a standard cupcake. If you use the baker's spray with a combination of oil and flour the cakes will come out of the pan effortlessly! The only complaint I have is that I only bought one. I need to get another one!
