This review is from: Rubies Harry Potter Broom (was #495), One Size (Toy)
We like the child's broom we recieved from AMAZON and will use it for decor in family room......BUT.......The Harry Potter broom that we recieved DID NOT look like the one that was on the web page, which is the one I expected to recieve. The one on the WEB PAGE looked more like the former "Nimbus 2000" that you used to carry. I recieved the "Child's Harry Potter broom". Would have liked to have had the "Nimbus 2000" model". I read that it was taken "off market" by Mattel, due it having a vibrator, but, by chance , was the one on your page one without the battery mechanisms? Am not interested in that part, just want the Nimbus 2000 style!
You had two styles listed and pictured. 1.)One broom had a bend in it, and was more like the Nimbus 2000 2.) the other one, didn't look the same. Would kind of like to know "what is up" with all the confused picturing on advertising on the brooms!

I ordered 2 of these brooms for my sons for Christmas. They are cheap plastic. I doubt they will hold up. I imagine this broom is only intended as an accessory for Halloween, and not an everyday use toy. It likely will not hold up for very long. I should have went with the ones at Alivans, at least they're wood. Disappointing for sure. For the money, I didn't expect wood, but I did expect a broom a little more sturdy.

So much fun for my daughters that I had to buy one for the wife too!,

So I bought one for my daughter at xmas and all I ever hear is moans and squeals of delight coming from her room. She's had all her friends from high school over and they just play with that broom for hours, which is great for me as a parent because I don't have to worry about them going out with boys and the boys trying to get them drunk etc, you know like I did to my wife when we were in high school. I never knew my girl was into Harry Potter but we've gone through so many batteries that we switched to rechargeables. All the girls do is ride around the house on their brooms and up in the attic all day, it's great! No fast food lunches or movie tickets to buy etc. My wife went up in the attic once to see what was going on and then she wanted one too! Well I got her one and when she's home she's riding it all the time - I think it looks a bit silly, and I once caught her riding around on one with the mail-woman when I came home early from work. No wonder the Postal Service is going broke.I tried it, but I felt stoopid riding around on a broom and didn't see what was so fun. Apparently there's a new model coming out which she wants to buy called a Sybian, but I've read all the Potter books and I can't find a reference to that model. 2115|R3F5XVVWDJ60XF;2115|RKA394HF2CASQ;2115|RAAG981YVZ38A;
