These tweezers are the best I've ever used. They are great for grabbing ingrown hairs and also for keeping your eyebrows in perfect shape because they can grab the tiniest and shortest of hairs. These really are precision tweezers so definitely keep the tips protected with the little plastic cover that comes with them. I lost this cover and then dropped the tweezers and now, even though I can't see any damage, they seems to be bent in the slightest of ways so they just don't work. These tweezers are so great I'm happy to spend another 30 bucks to get a new pair (I'm just going to take better care of these).

I bought this tweezer as a replacement due to losing my previous one which I had for over 10 years. This is the best tweezer I've ever had, tried others hoping I wouldn't have to shell out [...] bucks again but it was a waste of money. Although this tweezer is pricey it is well worth the money.

The tweezers work very well, but it took almost a month for the supplier to send them. When they were finally shipped, the supplier said they were sending the tracking #, which they didn't. When I requested it, they said it should have been sent. I had to remind them that the reason why I was e-mailing to get the tracking# was because they didn't send it. If you need tweezers in a hurry don't rely on the supplier to send them. Go to the drug store and buy some.

I purchased a number of Rubis tweezers believing the many positive reviews. After many months of use, I have gradually gone back to my far better and more economical Tweezerman tweezers. They don't look as pretty as Rubis, but the Tweezerman tweezers work well.

The problem with Rubis is that their slender point form is not really fully functional. They are so finely made that they lack grasping ability. The grabbing end of the points is so small, the hairs slip away from them. You end up repeatedly trying to pluck a hair. It can become a big waste of time using the Rubis. Additionally, the thin points can distort and the ends do not stay lined up.
The Rubis tweezers are just O.K. but in view of the price, I expected far, far more. Rubis does not deliver professional performance.

These were great while they lasted but after about six months, they no longer closed properly, and it wasn't as though I had attempted to do anything other than tweeze hairs (no jewelry, repair, for instance or anything else). I contacted Rubis to see about repair and I never heard back. So I kissed my $30 goodbye.

I own a lot of tweezers. Many. Most of them work on par with each other, i.e, not very well. They will get the larger hairs but have trouble grasping the finer ones. These tweezers work infinitely better than most and have a very sharp and precise edge, they get almost all the hairs I want. I have yet to try another reviewers advice of having them re-calibrated by the company (as thus far there has been no need) but I intend to if ever they lose their edge.

If you want a great pair of tweezers these are the ones you want. I use them mostly for eyebrows but they are great for slivers too. They have a very fine point which is great for the hard to reach places. I was skeptical at buying tweezers online but I am very happy with my purchase.

I had a pair of specialized tweezers from years ago. I dropped them on the carpet one day and the point bent. These tweezers are nearly as good, but not the same, hence 4 stars instead of 5. They are slightly shorter and almost imperceptibly not as sharp. Nonetheless,they are very sharp and it is amazing what you can do with sharp tweezers. Getting to splinters, pressing the outside region of small blackheads - forcing them out, scraping between nails and skin, and gently picking things that need to be picked. You can't begin to understand the difference between cheap tweezers you think are very pointed, and these which truly are very pointed, until you see for yourself.

My endless search for good tweezers ended with these. Precision made, work every time, flawless. And the company will sharpen them for you. Quality made in Switzerland, these will last a lifetime. They pick up the tiniest hair. I can't recommend enough! Rubis's slanted tweezer is also first rate.
