This book as more than you might ever need to use. There are forms for each trait, sample letters to parents, and different pages for assessment. You may have made some of these forms already, but I think these are nicer than mine. Of all the six trait books I have, this is the one that sits on my shelf for regular use.

If you are looking for reading rubrics this resource is chuck full of them. I was disappointed that there was not a lot of rubrics in the book. It was kind of a let down.Everything was mainly geared towards READING. I was bummed.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great rubrics, June 22, 2008
By
This review is from: 40 Rubrics & Checklists to Assess Reading and Writing (Grades 3-6) (Paperback)
I taught 4th grade this year, in Florida it is the first important year in a child's school career for writing. I really liked the different rubrics, it was ready to use, I didn't have to revise anything. I really liked the research rubric, it had very clear directions and steps for the students to achieve their research paper goal.
