This is a wonderful CD of pulsating bellydance rhythms performed
by a full orchestra with strings and traditional Middle East instrumentation. It has a very full sound while still keeping the sexy beat attributed to bellydance music. The melodies are all memorable and joyous to listen to. While I also enjoy the more contemporary bellydance music, there is nothing quite like hearing a room full of real musicians with no electronics belting out these rhythms. This disc is great for just listening to or for those more inclined, to dance the night away... |
