I really liked Princess Roxanne's two friends, Applesap and Marigold. They were exciting. Hapgood the Dragon was very kind. Roxanne is interesting because she is secretive. I learned never to run away!

My 4 yr old loves this story and movie. recommend the series for good values and stong female characters.

The Jewel Kingdom books are fun, fantastic, and provide great role models for young girls--the heroines are young, resourceful princesses whose quick thinking always saves the day! (By the way, it's coming out on video in Spring 1999!)

I loved the book. I saw the movie. It was great!!! My two friends who saw it, loved it. They want copies of their own. Any more movies coming??? C.S.H., age 10.

The Ruby princess is a lot like me and I love this book ! I have read seven Jewel kingdom books so far and I love the ruby princess best of all of them! In this story The ruby princess runs away before being crowned the ruby princess and some other girl takes her place! The Emerald princess I like too read her books The Emerald princess plays a trick and The Emerald princess finds a Fariy they are both great! Also the ruby princess has more storys The Ruby princess sees a ghost and The ruby princess and the baby dragon . I love these books and I hope to see the movie one day ! I read this book as a young child, when it was first being sold in the Scholastic book fairs. Though my memory is hazy, I have nothing but fond memories for this book, and would happily invest in the whole series on behalf of the children in my life.

This surprise me that Princess Ruby not want to be royal but yet she is one but in the end she return to her home to be Ruby Princess.

I got this book for Christmas last year and I loved it. It's alot better than the movie, because the movie is cheesy and the book isn't!

Its a big day for the jewel kingdom. The day the princesses get crowned. Demetra, Emily, and Sabrina are ready to be crowned... but not Roxanne. So Roxanne the ruby princess runs away with Twitter a palace guard. She meets Applesap, who got attacked by darklings and his wife, Marigold. Then she finds out that there is a fake ruby princess on the throne. Will she make it in time to save the kingdom? I like this book because it has adventure.
