Out of my 22 years of life, this is by far the best indie album I have ever had in my collection. Sirsy are definitely on their way to stardom... the question being not how, but when, will they reach it? The soulful growls and tight melodic clashings of instruments make this album a true gem. From start to finish there is no disappointment - along with all of their other studio albums. Definitely a good buy!

The CD Ruby is a wonderful musical experience of melody and creative lyrics which is a musical sojurn for the ears and soul as well....Vocalist Melanie Krahmer's awesome vocal range and soulful,sultry style is accented by guitarist Rich Libutti's artful musicianship(and as a song writing duo - very insightful and deeply talented....)This is quite an evenly balanced CD - Among their best material(So Far...)represented are "By July","Pet","SoulSucker","Fine" and "Lie To Me".....The next best experience to this CD is actually having the pleasure of seeing these great people LIVE - a WONDERFUL experience that defies adequate description....

This band is one of a kind. I cannot for the life of me figure out why they are not worldwide. This is a travesty. I am hoping for them that this happens, as they are a completely unique band that you will not come across anywhere else. This CD is excellent. It is just a great mix of songs that were made with the best of artistry, and very enjoyable. My favorite on this CD is "Again" - such strong singing from the great vocalist Melanie Krahmer, utilizing all the ranges of her stellar voice to finish it out. Definitely recommended for the music affectionado.
