5.0 out of 5 stars the BEST book of the year!, January 18, 2012
This review is from: Ruby's Slippers (Kindle Edition)
If you like fiction books that have alot of adventure and fun, the you have to read Rubby's Slippers! I'm 11years old and this is one of the best books I have ever read. This book is great for all ages and teaches you about friendship, family, school drama, mean but popular girls who you don't like and are mean to you but you are forced to work with them, the Wizard of Oz, and to be who you are and nobody else. I really hope you like this book because I know that this book could be anyones favorite.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Book! Absorbing Story., February 21, 2011
This review is from: Ruby's Slippers (Kindle Edition)
If you've never read this book and are looking for a fun book this is the one to read! I am twelve years old and have read this book um, about 4 times! I like this book `cause it talks about being 'different', meaning the main character Ruby, doesn't know what Facebook or YouTube are, and has never down-loaded an iTune. Here is a summary of the book: Ruby Lee is a girl who was born and raised in rural Kansas. In her free time she hangs out with her best friend- her mom. Then everything changes when her mother moves the family to Florida to care for Rubys gandma. Ruby is suprised at how different things are... not to mention making an enemy on the first day of seventh grade. Ruby now has to cope with enemy's, healthy eating, and fancy schools. She really hopes that she can make everything right. So, I won't spoil the end of the story but I will tell you that Ruby learns that changes aren't so bad, and the people you don't think are great really are! Hope you guys read this book cuz I can't stop!
