Inflate. Terry cloth front, plastic back. Suction cups hold tight. Easy to clean. Comes in diferent colors. Comfortable to lay back on and to rest your head between the middle billows. This pillow has 4 billows, much better than other pillow having 5.

Had a pillow just like this one for over 15 years. It finally deflated on me. This one has the terry on one side which is nice. I noticed other reviews of unhappy folks who got one with a hole in it. No reason to write a bad review in my opinion. It's an inflatable product. There's a chance that may happen. What's important is how the manufacturer handles it. Mine came with a hole in it. I called the seller and they immediately sent me another one. I expect this one, which has no hole, should last me another 15 years, so long as I don't use it with bobby pins in my hair, or to sit on.
