I bought the black, burgundy and red in small and medium. First, DO NOT BUY the red one. The ruffles at the end of the dress appear a different color red than the dress because the ruffles are made of a lighter, translucent material. It doesn't look good. THE BLACK, on the other hand, is great! Its a perfect evening attire "little black dress" when you need it! I love it! The burgundy one looks good too. It is clingy, and won't hide anything. My actual measurements matched a M, however the Medium burgundy was TOO loose, and small black one was perfect! If you're going to get this - buy a size smaller than your actual measurements, expect it to be clingy and hide NOTHING, and buy the black, the burgundy is OK, don't buy the red.

This dress was purchased for a formal high school graduation. It is absolutely stunning! The dress fit true to size - a medium fit a size 7 perfectly. Beautiful layers of mesh create a fairy tale illusion.

I've been searching for a sexy dress to wear for my cousin's wedding.
I turned to Amazon, because i've had many successes with recent purchases.

After a brief search, I came across this dress. The burgundy color immediately drew me in. I decided to buy it in my regular size, Medium.

Unfortunately, before I made the purchase, I decided to check the customer reviews. Why did I do this? Half of the reviews indicated that the dress was about 2 sizes too small than what the sizing chart indicated, others said the dress looked cheap when they got it, a few women stated that the dress fit perfectly and they loved it, and one person said the dress ran big.

These conflicting reviews made me question the purchase, question the sizing chart, etc. Especially since the disapproving reviews stated that the dress "is not for curvy women". I am certainly a curvy latin woman, with a 34 bust and 28 inch waist. But still, these women claimed they were "curvy" and it didn't fit them.

But, I said what the hell and ordered it. I paid extra for priority mailing.

Needless to say, I received it the next day.

I was impressed at how sexy the dress is. It does NOT look cheap at all. But then again, if you want some luxurious $400 looking dress, then go ahead and spend the money in a boutique, get off of Amazon and quit your whining. Spend the money.

The dress, ordered in Medium, FIT LIKE A GLOVE. I can't help but think that A LOT OF WOMEN cannot ADMIT TO THEMSELVES THAT THEY ARE FAT. I'm sorry, but curvy does NOT EQUAL fat. If you've got rolls, yes this dress IS NOT FOR YOU. CURVES DO NOT EQUAL ROLLS, people!!!

I recommend this dress for very fit, confident women that are ready to show off what they've got.

I agree with one of the readers that this dress "hides nothing". It is true. But if are like me, and don't want to wear a granny dress, by all means, buy it.

THE SIZES ARE TRUE TO THE DRESS. If a medium states 34 bust and 28 waist, then that is what you are getting.

If you don't shop in the juniors section, don't bother getting this dress.

All in all, very good customer service, very good product for the money.

My husband bought this dress for me when I was a size 16 and studying abroad. I didn't get a chance to wear it until I came back and was down to a size 12. However, it's stretchy enough that I was able to wear the XL (I'm about a medium to large now) and the only issue was the elastic on the upper back of the bodice is a little looser than I'd like. It's a nice dress for a party or the holidays, and I didn't wear a bra under it, which wasn't noticeable. Also, I didn't notice any problems with the length; it came up to a little above my knee on the shorter side. So, if you want a cocktail dress you can wear comfortably and that packs well, this is for you.

I just received this dress, tried it on, and I have to say, WOW. It fits like a 2nd skin, but in a good way.

I am a curvy lady, size 10 on the bottom and a 12 on top, the junior sized 1X fits very well (go to the size chart). It's stretchy making it a comfortable dress to wear for a long evening of dinner and dancing.

Way to go Amazon!

It is a very nice dress, but not for curvy women. I got a medium and the halter-chest area is only big enough for an A or B cup. Everything else just looks silly.

It looks so elegant in the picture. It does not look that way in person. It is an o.k. dress but it is a spandex bodice. It has an 80's looks on due to what the bodice is make out of. Does not flow like the picture and the tie around the neck short, not long and drapy like in the picture. Somewhat disappointed but not waisting anymore money to send back. The color is very nice.

I love this dress. It's a perfect "little black dress" for a fancy cocktail party, New Year's Eve, or salsa dancing. The ruffles twirl nicely when dancing. It fits perfectly. It is very form-fitting in the stomach and the hips. My only criticism is that it could be improved with some built-in bra support.

I have been a size 12 all my thirty some odd years I became sick and had to purchase a dress for my baby brothers wedding worried about the weight and having to look good in a dress I found this online once ordered my friend explains how it can be a disaster so I started reading what others left and worried. I ordered it wednesday evening and had it friday afternoon. I just have to say I am a size 20 and 5'8" I ordered the burgandy in a 3x and it is beautiful and a perfect fit. Dont let anyone convince you that fat ladies dont look good in this or its too sexy. The shortest fell just above my knee the longest about 6-8 inches above my ankle. It is comfortable and stylish for any age or size. I hope everyone who orders this enjoys it as much as I am.

The dress was gorgeous when I received it, however, there was a slight defect with the item. I had planned to wear it on my birthday so there was no time to exchange. PacificPlex was quick at issuing me a refund I will continue to refer people to them and buy items from their company.
