1.0 out of 5 stars This is a Misfit Toy November 10, 2010
Platform for Display:Nintendo Wii
Fun: 1.0 out of 5 stars
To their credit, they didn't price this as a premium game, so you figure it's not really much. . .but this is still pretty terrible.

First off, they made no attempt to make Sam the Snowman sound anything like Burl Ives.

Then on to the game. . .

You play 4 mini games and that's it. The first one involves an elf tossing something at your character from atop a ladder, and your job is to use your head to volley the object to its rightful place. Maybe it's a decoration for the tree. Maybe it's a present for under the tree. Maybe it's a misfit toy for Santa's bag. Either way, for some reason, your job is to soccer-ball head it to its spot while the timer runs down. Whee.

Next, you're painting toys in the toy shop by flicking your controller as toys make their way past on an assembly line. Kind of like a shooting gallery, but you don't actually aim your globs of paint. They just seem to find (or not find) their targets on their own. Oh yeah. . .Good times.

Next, you're in the cookie bakery, where you're got to move your controller back and forth, up and down, etc. to go through various baking steps. Again, with the timer, though by now, you're just hoping the time runs out so the game will end.

Finally, you're an elf, riding with Santa, whipping toys out of the sleigh as houses pass you by. There's no penalty for missing a house, and you get a bonus if you hit the chimney directly. You have an unlimited number of toys to toss, so it's really just an exercise in flailing about.

I know that the Rudolph gang have been going on a product licensing binge over the past several years, but this should serve as an example that you can't just slap a picture on the cover and create a winner. This game is a loser.

After completing this game in 25 minutes, my 6-year old daughter said, "is that all?". Truer words have not been spoken.

1.0 out of 5 stars Cute but no substance November 10, 2010

Fun: 1.0 out of 5 stars
Worst purchase I have ever made!!! If you are over 5 years old, this short, simple (albeit cute) game is a bore :( We "beat" the game in 10 mins. I have many happy, nostalgic memories of my favorite Christmas cartoon and expected much, much more out of a video game. It should have never been released! We promptly made a trip to game stop and exchanged it for something else.

1.0 out of 5 stars Waste of Money! November 12, 2010
Platform for Display:Nintendo Wii
Fun: 1.0 out of 5 stars
I don't normally do these reviews, but I thought if it helps to save one person their money, it's worth it! To put it very simply, my 4 year old finished this game in about 10 minutes. When I turned around and it was starting over, I thought he must have hit a wrong button and reset it, so he did it again, and I watched in amazement that there were only 5 extremely short levels. WOW, please don't waste your money on this! Now, "Scooby Doo! First Frights" is an awesome game that my 4 year old loves and is easy enough for him to handle by himself, and it's on sale for $15.96 right now!

1.0 out of 5 stars Expected WAY WAY more... November 22, 2010
Platform for Display:Nintendo Wii
Fun: 1.0 out of 5 stars
If you are four or five I could understand why you might like this game. It is very simple only four mini games and no extras what so ever!! (I recommend the "We wish you a Merry Christmas" for Wii). This game does not live up to the name of Rudolph and I have deffinatly not played a game worse than this one.

1.0 out of 5 stars Very superficial December 5, 2011

The reviews are right - this is a very short poorly done game. My son (4) did enjoy what there is of it, but even he couldn't believe it was over after 10 minutes.

1.0 out of 5 stars Waste of Money December 10, 2011
Platform for Display:Nintendo Wii
Fun: 1.0 out of 5 stars
I must admit that this was an impulse buy. I saw it while roaming in Costco and figured for $15, it couldn't hurt even if it was cheesy. Well, cheesy it was, but more than that, the entire "game" consists of the same 4 mini games that you play in story mode or individually. Naturally, I started in story mode and couldn't believe I was returned to the main menu within 10 minutes. I went to game selection, because surely I had missed something, but no, that was truly everything. $15 was not a deal but a way inflated price for something I bought based on nostalgia. Don't waste your money. If you want to try so bad, take mine.

I bought this in february because I knew I could get it cheaper, and I did. I'm sad I can't give this game ZERO stars.

Please, if you are interested in purchasing this game, first watch a video of it in Youtube. You and your youngest children can finish the game in just 12-13 minutes, It only have 4 minigames with no possibility of getting higher scores and without need of any skill. For me, it's the worst Wii game and even, the worst game of all time. I bought it because I wanted to have this example of garbage in my game collection.

If you had watched the youtube videos of this game and had read all the reviews here (the 4-5 stars reviews are lying) and still want to have your copy please, think of buying Wiiware or other retro games that are funnier than this one. If you want it and won't have any remorse later I encourage you to buy it used at a cheaper price.
