Top Customer Reviews

This is a decent, even good cookware set--if it was priced comparably at your local boxed goods store. But, when you factor in the $3k price tag, you will be extremely displeased. I've heard rumors that this was available on Amazon for a $1200 sale. Even at that price, you will be displeased.

These are beautiful pieces. But, I don't believe anyone is buying them as artwork. And, the fact that they are handmade should have zero bearing. These are copper and they heat well. But, the stainless lining on the cooking surface will come off in after as little as 3 uses. If you get 10 out of it, you are doing well. After that, the lining starts to come off rapidly (presumably, mixed into your food) and the copper shines through. At that point, Barkeepers Friend won't even help. Plus, anything you cook will no longer cook evenly. Worse, the food begins to taste like copper.

These pans are way too thin. That may be the reason the stainless lining won't bind. Plus, I have a gas cooktop and the pans are have horrible flame marks on them that look like metal that was heated too high. Just from a regular cooktop! I don't ever cook anything on high temperature. My stainless All-Clad pots and pans have never had any issues--nor have my Kirkland pots/pans (also Stainless, with copper bottom inserts).

I thought that these would be both beautiful and an upgrade. Had the price been in the $300-400 range, then my rating would be higher because I would have received what I paid for. Since I paid a ton more and since the manufacturer still hasn't responded to my complaints after 4 weeks, I am posting my review. You will be ecstatic when you open the box because copper pans are beautiful. After a few uses, you will be furious. If I could return these and get my money back, I would.
