I am in no way affiliated with Rufus Teague.
Comparing the RUFUS TEAGUE HONEY SWEET version to the RUFUS TEAGUE WHISKEY MAPLE version, I would have to say that the HONEY SWEET version is thinner, sweeter, and a lot less spicy hot. Personal preferences are just that, personal preferences. Different strokes for different folks. So if you like spicy barbeque sauce, try the WHISKEY MAPLE version. If you like a sweeter BBQ sauce, try the HONEY SWEET. If either is too sweet or spicy, put some in a saucer with some water added to thin it out a bit. "Good sauce makes bad barbeque good and good barbeque gooder". CAUTION: No expiration date is listed anywhere on the bottle, so you are on your own there. No preservatives, -so how long is it still usable? God only knows. Some of the information listed (in very small print) on the bottle label:

Currently my favorite sauce. Just sweet enough, but packed with flavor. So many now taste like catsup with hot sauce, this one has depth.Published 2 months ago by Lizzie Bennet
Wanted to love it per the reviews, but neither of us liked it. Big molasses flavor added with anchovies.Published 3 months ago by Maxoom
Great stuff! I bought it because it has an old timey picture of a wise looking old black man on the bottle. Always trust a BBQ sauce if it's got a black guy on the bottle!Published 4 months ago by JT

This is the best barbecue sauce I have ever had. I've eaten at some of the most famous barbecue places and their sauce had nothing on this. Absolutely heavenly.Published 9 months ago by Frances Dampier
