Very disappointed in these rug grippers.
Jim
I can see where they may work on carpeting, but they don't work on wood or linoleum floors at all, they slide around just as much as without the grippers.
Daisy
They adhere to the underside of throw rugs, but the cleats do not grip the carpet.

Despite the picture displayed and the claim that these rug grippers also work for throw rugs on carpet, they do not even begin to hold rugs in place over carpet. The rugs still creep as much as with no grippers at all. They adhere to the underside of throw rugs, but the cleats do not grip the carpet. They just slid around. I bought 9 sets of 4 and I'm sending them all back. Sounded like a good idea, but very disappointing.

This item did not keep the rug from shifting and sliding around on the carpet.

I am sold on these grippers for wood floors! Our area rugs were always moving around in the kitchen, family room and living room with our grandchild and large labrador retreiver running around. Once the grippers were installed (make sure your wood floor is clean), the rugs stayed in place. My husband has even vacuumed over them and the rugs have not moved. I am buying more to keep on hand.

I read a review that said these work well on wood floors and that is what I am looking for, so I bought them. But they were a complete waste of money. I can see where they may work on carpeting, but they don't work on wood or linoleum floors at all, they slide around just as much as without the grippers.

I don't think there are any grippers or tape that can hold a long runner from walking. These might work on a short rug, but not runners. I used 6 per runner and it just doesn't work. Hell, I just screwed the two corners to the floor. Problem solved!

The products failed to adhere to any of seven rugs it was tried on. They literally would not stick to the backing on any of the seven rugs at all. It would stick well to all floor types and would removed easily, but had no affintiy to hold a variety of rugs, new or otherwise. I bought these to help my elderly mother avoid slips but they appear to have no value in that regard as far as I could tell. I have since been to a big box store and purchased much less expensive products that worked very well.

I loaded all of the information as requested and rather than allowing me REVIEW the pricing prior to approving the fees, it just automatically charged me without giving me any opportunity to approve it. Then, when I tried to reach someone to CANCEL the order, they conveniently don't have any live human beings to speak to, NOR do they have ANY way of reaching them to cancel the order. That's ok - as soon as it shows up on my Amex, I'm opening an inquiry to reverse the charges. They might want to learn that they shouldn't charge 160% of the price of the product itself in processing and handling, especially considering the TOTAL ORDER would have fit in a small envelope.

This is exactly what I was looking for to stop my runner from creeping on the carpet. However, it didn't work. We thought perhaps since carpet fibers are directional, if the "cleats" were angled instead of straight up and down, it might grab the carpet and work. As it is, having this on the runner probably does more damage so we had to remove them.
