As an ex-player and current referee I found this book a pretty accurate description of rugby. The pictures and graphics are great. My two year old enjoys having me read it to him. I am sure most little kids would too.

This can be a good book for children who play rugby and also for them who want to play rugby. But I want to say that the people who love rugby can enjoy reading this book. This is a simple book, but one can feel the atmosphere in the rugby field.

I became interested in the game a few years back and this was reaffirmed with a visit to Ireland during the World Cup for rugby. the enthusiasm was incredible. This book sheds light on the basics of the game so you can follow the action during the match. Also is good for reading to toddlers.

It's a beginning kids book for a serious and interesting sport.From the pitch to the post game songs this book covers the basics of Rugby with bright, colorful, humourous and accurate illustrations. It's good to see Rugby portrayed as something to take pride in, not just a folly.

This book is really cute. My dad, my older brother and I all play rugby and this was a perfect gift for my little brother. It really shows a lot of the rules and even the social aspect of the game. And it's well illustrated.

I recently bought "My dad the rugby player" for my daughter. She thought the pictures were nice. I enjoyed the clear explanation of the game of rugby. It was nice to have a book that featured families enjoying time at the rugby pitch.
