Great Item,
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Ruger LCP Covert Carrier Grip Sleeve (Misc.)
This Item was shipped to me very quickly and I was excited to get it and while putting it on my gun it split down the seam. I called the seller and he immediately sent me another item. The new one has worked perfect I recommend this product to anyone.

I like the concept of this but I removed it after my first visit to the range... Out of the box, it was VERY difficult to put on the LCP but once it was finally on it looked good and was functional. I tested it out on my belt and it worked as advertised. It holds the gun a little higher than I like but it's easy to adjust to. I bragged about it to my friends that also have the LCP and another friend decided to purchase one. After I went to the range though, I realized there's no way I could keep it. It's extremely difficult to quickly draw the pistol from concealment and when you fire, the metal piece that sticks off feels like it's cutting into your hand. I had a small dark bruise after shooting 24 rounds through it. In the end I removed the sleeve and now I just carry it in my front pocket. If there was an easier way to draw the gun and maybe the clip was wider and rounded it would be perfect but until then I can't use it.

Not what they use to be,,
This review is from: Ruger LCP Covert Carrier Grip Sleeve (Misc.)
I have owned one of these before and had been reasonably pleased with it. (Although I do not remember paying $34.50 for it.) Insallation is a simple process of slipping the grip sleeve over the grip of the pistol. In my case it was a Kel-Tec PF9 (my BUG). Much to my suprise and disappointment the sleeve promptly split while sliding it onto the grip. I ended up getting the belt clip from Kel-Tec for $10.00. I am a handgun instructor at a local defensive shooting school and will not be recommending this product as the quality does not appear to be what it use to be.
