Looks good and does what it needs to do, carry bicycles. Not being serious bike enthusiast's, basically have them encase we get stuck or break down. We do a lot of travel to very remote area's, mostly off road. These bikes are like our life rafts in a emergency... The Bike Rack is easy to install, use and secure with it's locking ability. While traveling off road not to noise and remarkably durable. On the freeway it is hardly noticeable and just as quiet. Make sure you order yours with the right bolt pattern. A simple, easy to use product. Overall great....

I found the main part of this unit to be a heavy duty bike rack, look like it would last a lifetime, but it all ends there. It is actually very low security. It has one hex bolt that attaches it to the spare tire adapter, this bolt can be easily removed with an adjustable wrench by any thieve, and you had better plan on carrying a wrench in the case of a flat. Also it would not properly fit through the bore of my Jeep Liberty tire. Ok, so I over looked the first 2 things and thought I would keep it, and just not leave my bike unattended. So I loaded my bike on, and tightened the looking fastener that is designed to slip when you turn it while it is locked. I attempted to removed the bike, and unlocked, it continued to slip, I had to do this for a while to get it to open, so you would have to essentially leave the screw lock half loose so that your bike would not be secure, and would move around, and maybe fall off. The lock assembly is very cheap, and I did not expect it to last through the season, so I sent if back for a refund.
