5.0 out of 5 stars Discover the Country
Rugrats Discover America shows four rugrats cartoons. The first show is Discover America when Tommy's grandpa travels the country and brings back gifts to each rugrat but cannot find baby Dill's gift. The rugrats hop in the reptar wagon for a pretend tour of America through the backyard while the parents have a pinic. The rugrats hope to find the perfect gift as they...

3.0 out of 5 stars Rugrats Discover America
The movie was cute, and my 4 year old grandson liked it. The only reason I gave it a low rating was because much of it included material similar to "The Rugrats Vacation." Also, one of the cartoons seemed to be more about the grown-ups than the kids, so it became less interesting to my grandson than the other shows which focus on the babies. As usual, he...

The rugrats hope to find the perfect gift as they search the country and discover new sites along the way. 2nd show The Jungle. The rugrats get lost in a Florist full of plants and vegtables which makes a perfect jungle backround. A little poodle chases the babies as they try and save Dill from Jungle fever. Will Dill get his medicine in time or will the babies be lost in the jungle forever? 3rd show Journey to the center of the basement. Chuckie's new toy reptar Jr. gets mistakenly put in Chuckie's basement. The rugrats become explorers in hopes to rescue Reptar Jr. before the rat people get him. Tommy plans to help Chuckie be brave and to save Reptar Jr. 4th show Faire Play. Phil kisses a frog and wishes to go to Fairyland. The babies are whisked away to a kingdom full of fun. Stu has also bulit a robo dragon that eats him by mistake. The rugrats wish for the one person to save Tommy's daddy.... Reptar to the Rescue. Also as a bonus to the video the making of rugrats in paris the movie. You'll see Robotic Reptar, the famous sites of Paris, and new Chuckie's mommy and lots of other things. Oh La La the babies are going to paris. I suggest you buy this tape. If your kids like Rugrats they will like this.

As stated before my grand kids adore this addition to their rug-rat video collection. They never Tire of watching The rugrats Discover America Video. We keep a VCR around just for watching such version of the rugrat escapades. The color and animation is great.

Also, one of the cartoons seemed to be more about the grown-ups than the kids, so it became less interesting to my grandson than the other shows which focus on the babies. As usual, he watched it 5 times in a row, so he probably would rate it a 4 star video. I feel that the earlier cartoons which are more simple and less slick are more entertaining and funnier.

"Discover America" is very good; "Grahm Canyon" a little old. But Rugrats series fans will love this movie.
