Rulers of the Earth,
This review is from: Rulers of the Earth: Secrets of the Sons of God (Paperback)
Joe Lewells has written another excellent book. I was so impressed I bought 30 of them to share with my friends. His journalism background makes it a pleasure to read, and his subject is of utmost importance as we approach the "change times" referred to in ancient and modern prophesy. He documents how he has been guided to meet others like himself who had past lives associated with the life of Jesus. Their coming together now must be for a profound purpose. - Donald M. Ware, truthseeker for 55 years.

If you take the bible seriously and are interested in incarnation & karma, this one is for you. This topic is so interesting you can finish reading in a day or two.
There are things about Jesus that churches do not teach you. This will help you with your understanding of Jesus and the bible.

A Truth Seekers Gold Mine,

Joe Lewel's new book is wonderful.
He spends the first half of the book giving the reader a little background about who he is and some historical references. Although he seems to wander around a bit, the logic of his method all comes together in the second half of the book. Starting with chapter eight for those of us that could be described as `truth seekers' this book is solid gold. I have re-read the second half of his book several times and each time I find something useful to my thirst for knowledge. This book is not for those with closed minds or that seek the comfortable and easy answers to the questions of life, death, religion, etc. If you are of a mind such as Gerry Spence though who said: "...I would rather have a mind opened by wonder than one closed by belief..." then you are already on Joe's wavelength. This book is a wonderful source of knowledge and information for those that seek truth no matter where it leads. It's a thoroughly enjoyable read. Steve `Poots' Candidus

Erudite Oracle,

This review is from: Rulers of the Earth: Secrets of the Sons of God (Paperback)
One of the best books of its kind. Verifies and links several theories and facts in this area from the Urantia texts to ancient and moderm extraterrestrial occurrences. Warning: If you are not ready to grapple with proof of some ideas that are drastically different from currently accepted Christian norms, this book could rattle your foundations. Remember, if 90% of what you read on a subject is not true, that means 10% is true. This definitely falls in the 10% category.

I don't have the same enthusiasm for this book as other reviewer's obviously have. A great deal of it is the author's personal biography, which indicates that this is a subjective analysis of the subject matter. Most of the stuff about ETs and the biblical Nephilim I had come across elsewhere, so in most respects nothing here was original other than the author's personal anecdotes. I support his basic premise - that the earth was visited in the remote past - but his investigation gets lost in alien abduction accounts, which is an entirely different topic altogether. Hybrid descendants may in fact be ruling the earth....but this book presents a weak circumstantial case for it.

A good read! It is well balanced in its presentation of the the ancient stories and myths relating to possible ET contact in the past and present. This book is for the true researcher looking for that honest work that inspires new possibilties. Get it!

Secrets of the Sons of God?,

I believe Mr Lewels is sincere in his understanding. But my enthusiasm for "Rulers of the Earth" took a hit right at the start. The cover features a painting by Raphael that depicts a tiny UFO hovering above the Madonna. Intriguing, yes? Well, no, as the UFO was photoshopped by the publisher. Nice!
But you shouldn't judge a book by its cover. So take a look at the book's bibliography --- much of Mr Lewels' source material is derived from such New Age "decoders" as Zacharia Sitchin, Michael Baigent, and Laurence Gardner. These are writers for whom every Rorschach image resolves to a saucer shape. Mr Lewels, a hypnotherapist, also relies on recovered memories of alien abductions and past lives, taken literally. I think this is a mistake. After all, many persons share recollection of being some famous historical personage, like Cleopatra, in a past life when, really, there's only room for one. (For his part, Mr Lewels was age-regressed and discovered he was one of Jesus's brothers.) And whatever the reality of alien abductions, a trained hypnotherapist should know that the subconscious frequently communicates through metaphor and can be intentionally deceptive to boot (see Milton H. Erickson). A great deal of energy is being expended on the creation of a new mythos regarding extraterrestrials and their role in human destiny. Many of those toiling in this particular vineyard are retired military or intelligence operatives (I'm not saying Mr Lewels is one of them). What's up with that? This book seems to suggest Jesus will return via a flying saucer. I expect that may be. And if it does, look really closely at the fuselage and you may find a tiny sticker that says "Made in Germany --- Property of the US Government."

I have read hundreds of books seeking the answers to the "Big" questions and all I needed to do was read this one book. Joe Lewels speaks truth. Read this and trust your feelings. Thank you Joe.
