On a sad day in November 2006, Aimee Quemuel had just returned from walking her dog Cody on the beach when he collapsed at her feet. Aimee frantically rushed Cody to the veterinarian where sadly, he was diagnosed with an incurable cancer and given only days to live. Like anyone who receives such a horrifying diagnosis about a loving member of the family, she was devastatingly shocked, hurt and confused. But unlike many of us, she didn't give up. She believed that she could help Cody. That something or someone would be able to turn this around. And she was right. The "few days" Cody was given by the vet who diagnosed his disease as hemangiosarcoma, turned out to be 519 days. Cody, a golden retriever, lived to the ripe old age of 12 yrs. and 7 months!
So how did she do it? The same way as many of the other people who are included in her book, this book, and who are fighting and have fought the battle of dog cancer. Many relied on conventional treatments, many relied solely on natural remedies, some leaned toward eastern modalities such as feng shui and reiki and some relied on it all. But they all share one thing in common, their dogs survived well past their survival date.
You will learn how to change your dog's diet, his environment, exercise routine, products used around the house and essentially gain a wealth of knowledge on fighting, or better yet, preventing cancer in your dog. I highly recommend this book and if you own a dog and don't want to see him to die from cancer, then start changing his life. If you own a dog who is already sick, let me say first that I'm very sorry. I know only too well what is like to hear that frightening news. I urge you to purchase this book immediately. The advise and tips contained within helped my dog Bailey (1996-2007) live nearly two years past his expected survival date. When he passed away from the complications of a stroke brought on by old age, he was almost 13 years old (91 human years). At the time of his death, the vets believed him to be cancer-free.
Oh and one other thing...all the proceeds to this book, every penny, will be donated to animal cancer research/medical charities. This book was a labor of love and was written purely and honestly and for the sole purpose of saving the lives of our beloved pets. Need I say more?
