While this is available on PDF from the FCC, it is nice to have ARRL's copy of the FCC Rules and Regulations that contain Part 97 that govern the Amateur Radio Service. You need one for your shack.It is what it is, great price, nicely laid out and accessible. I have no complaints.

This book tells you what is legal and not for amateur radio use. Knowing this information is a responsibility of every amateur radio operator.Frequency bands, locations, when to identify call signs, use of amplifiers, operation during emergencies, this is all shown in black and white here. If you have ever wondered, which frequency you are authorized to use in ITU Region 2, this has it. (I am laughing now.) Written in mostly plain and simple English, but contains the specific legal coding to let you know what is important and correct. This book will keep you in check and help keep the Feds from busting down your door to confiscate your gear. Know the law with this book. Get it, know, it , love it, learn it.....etc.
