5.0 out of 5 stars Our most-used guide book
We spent spent two months in Grenada, St Vincent, and the Grenadines on our sailboat in the winter of 2008. We had seven guide books for this area -- Rum & Reggae was our favorite. 1.0 out of 5 stars It's St. Vincent and the Grenadines which is not part of Grenada
It's St. Vincent and the Grenadines which is not part of Grenada. The Grenadines is part of St. Vincent (SVG). The rum punch recipe is not how they make rum punch in St. Vincent and the Grenadines, lime juice and rum-no that's not right. It should be Rum and Soca. Get it correct!! SVG is one of the best kept secret. Great place to visit.

We spent spent two months in Grenada, St Vincent, and the Grenadines on our sailboat in the winter of 2008. We had seven guide books for this area -- Rum & Reggae was our favorite. For exploring, hiking, snorkeling, eating: this book consitently recommended places and activities that were more interesting and less touristy. Sure, we used the others books too, but we used this one more.

Note that we were living on our sailboat and did not use their hotel recommendations.

We've since bought the Rum & Reggae books for the rest of the areas that we plan to explore next winter.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great in the Grenadines!, November 26, 2008
This review is from: Rum & Reggae's Grenadines: Including St. Vincent & Grenada (Rum & Reggae series) (Paperback)
Used this book for a recent great trip to St. Vincent and the Grenadines. While the book is a little less detailed than the bigger guide books as well as a little biased against the high end resort options, the frank opinions and reviews were right on the mark. Easier to carry around than the bigger guidebooks and information was very accurate. Inexpensive useful guide to this wonderful area of the Caribbean!
