I danced like no one was watching!,

The first time I heard this album I thought "ich." It was not until I was able to actually see them on stage that I understood what they were doing. They are not musically the best band out there, but after seeing them live they are by far the most entertaining. The recording quality is low on the CD which distracts from the playfulness of most the lyrics and the music. There shows, on the other hand, are well put together (choreographed dance moves and all) and display quality musicianship. This is a must have for anyone who has attended a show, but otherwise I would recommend their DVD, "Season One," which includes a CD of the show. In actuality this is a three star item - at the most - but for me this CD is not about what's on it but the memories of their shows that it conjures up. If you ever have a chance to see them live, do it, and then buy the CD at the show.

These arrangements almost sound Broadway-worthy. The arrangements definitely have the scope of a major production. The songs just sound "big". The tunes are catchy and the lyrics are clever. This is probably the closest I've seen to a modern "horn-rock". I would definitely recommend this album to anyone that likes ska, rock, or really just good music. I want to get more of their albums.
