Contrary to what the title suggests, this book is not the movie to Nicky's book with the same title. This DVD is more a documentary where Nicky visits some of the places of his past and introduces other persons from his book to the viewer.
The actual movie to the book "Run baby run" is currently in the making, according to the website of Nicky Cruz (as of 12-2008).

This book was very inspirational - showing how God can and does work huge changes in seemingly hopeless situations and people.
It describes a violent, horrid life in the poverty stricken areas of New York city in the 1950s which seems to never end. This book is very honest. The amazing work God does in the life and lives of hopeless people is uplifting and should give us all a better understanding of how powerful and mighty our God is - if we but turn to him, invite him in and let him work.

Enjoyed this documentary-style movie. Great teaching tool to reach the lost!

This is not a film of the story of Nicky Cruz acted out. It is a documentary interviewing Nicky and others for the most part. The worst aspect was that the sound was so poorly done that it was a major, major struggle to try to understand anything that was said. It is disappointing that the people who did this DVD did not make the effort to make a truly excellent product.

I thought this book was great. I think anyone who has children need to read this book. It touched my heart dearly. I'm so greatful Nicky Cruz decided to write about his life. It made my faith in God stronger.

I enjoyed watching the dvd; however, the sound quality is muffled and it was difficult to understand most of it. Had to turn up the volume pretty high. I would have given all 5 stars if the sound quality had been better.
