This is a re-release of SNSD's album "Oh!" It's the same album except different packaging and 2 new songs. (Plus a new version of an old song) The new songs are "Run Devil Run" and "Echo" Both songs are great. And most of the songs from the "Oh!" album are great as well. The biggest difference between "Oh!" and "Run Devil Run" is the packaging and design. So if you a fan of SNSD just because of their music, then get this instead of "Oh!" But if your a SUPER FAN like me, then I would recommended getting both. I personally like the design of "Oh!" much better in terms of how its packaged and its overall design. You do get a collectible poster of a random member (I got Seohyun) with this release, but with "Oh!" you get a collectible card and better pictures. (In my opinion)

I wish SM Entertainment would have brought this out first instead of trying to take more money out of the fans of these girls. The CD comes in a plastic DVD case with a 13.5" x 19" fold-out poster of one of the nine girls(Mine came with Jessica, wish I had Taeyeon's instead), a 4.5" x 7" mini poster with the girls wishes and autograph on the back and a 24 page picture booklet. CD has 15 tracks instead of 12 from the 2nd Album, Oh! The additional tracks are:

Track 1: Run Devil Run
Track 3: Echo
Track 4: Star, Star, Star (Accoustic R&B Version)

My favorite track is Track 7, Forever which is an OST from the K-drama, Pasta. I would have given this five stars if it came with a Taeyeon poster. 4.5 Stars if it came with Yoona. Lol.

I first heard of GG when a friend posted "Run, Devil Run" on his FB account. Since they are all very cute I took an interest. Then I found myself humming the song. After buying the CD most of the songs have catchy melodies.I don't understand what they are singing about, but as a full package, good singing, good songs, I must say I like this CD a lot as I have recently bought the others.
The title track seems a bit darker than the light pop sound that fills most of the CD. Their videos are fun to watch also, but after the success of "Run, Devil Run" I don't think they'll be making anymore videos of them dancing around with lollipops.
Enjoy.

The album is great! They have all their hit songs and some new stuff is this album. It is 15 songs total and you get a small poster of one of the girls too. Great value! I love Girls' Generation and they are the best K-pop group out there.

Love Gee, Oh, Day by Day, and of course Genie. This was my first foray into buying K-pop and this was an excellent selection due to the multiple hit songs on this second edition of their album Oh. I enjoy this group more than Wondergirls who have a few good songs thus far, but these girls overall are better looking, better dancers, and seem to have a little more singing ability.

(Note: this is written in retrospect in 2012, 2 years after its release)

After listening to Girls' Generation's music all the way from the original "Into the New World" single to "The Boys", the "Run Devil Run" repackage full album is their best yet (and their best deal, if you're strapped on cash). As a repackage of their "Oh!" full album, it contains 15 tracks: 9 original tracks including 'Oh!', 3 repackage tracks including 'Run Devil Run', and their 2 smash hits 'Gee' and 'Genie' (which as far as I know, are the only ones that are replayed today on Taiwanese TV - true classics). The album concept is "dark and sexy", and compared to their later albums, Girls' Generation matches it very well. In both the music video and CD packaging, each member is depicted in tight-fitting black clothes against an equally dark background. The CD case itself is pretty mild, just a plastic DVD-style box.

As for the music, the "Run Devil Run" album covers everything - standard Girls' Generation bubblegum pop, electronic pop, American pop, ballad, feature songs, old classics. Speaking of American pop, for those of you who don't know, the song 'Run Devil Run' was actually a K$sha demo song - that's why it sounds American. SM Entertainment bought the rights to the song (no stealing thankfully), changed the lyrics, and had 9 girls sing it. If you understand the Korean version's lyrics, however, you'll find it much more amusing - there are parts such as Tiffany singing about smelling girl's perfume on a cheating guy. 'Oh!' still retains its spotlight however, as it's a bit different from earlier Girls' Generation bubblegum pop music - it's got an electronica ring to it.

It first began when I was playing League of Legends. The new champ that came out was named Ahri and her dance was based off of Run Devil Run from SNSD. The song was addicting, I listened to it constantly on YouTube. Eventually I got to the point where I started to research on the nine girls that were part of SNSD. Started becoming a fanboy you can say and just started watching more videos of SNSD. And of course you can guess it lead me to buying this album. I just got it yesterday, doing my research before hand, the songs in here other then Run Devil Run I never actually took the time to listen too. But after the CD I found that I liked more then 3/4 of the songs on the CD. It was a good buy. <3 And just for fanboy moment reasons.

There was a poster of one of the girls. And I got the one that I wanted. Taeyeon <3
