Run Dogs Run! was created by author Hal Higdon and cartoonist Dana Summers for beginning readers, aged three to eight. The 56-page book combines Summers’ art featuring funny dogs doing whacky things with Higdon’s tightly written captions. The book is aimed at children, whose parents may be runners, but any runner or dog-lover will love to have a copy of Run, Dogs, Run! on his or her coffee table.

About the Author
Hal Higdon is Senior Writer for "Runner's World" magazine and the author of 34 books, including "The Horse That Played Center Field", made into an animated movie by ABC-TV. Higdon has run 111 marathons.
Dana Summers is editorial cartoonist for the Orlando Sentinel. Summers also draws the comic strips Bound and Gagged and The Middletons when not training for road races, short and long.

This is very similar to Go,Dogs,Go but just as enjoyable. Each page describes different kinds of dogs running, "Dogs that dance. Dogs that prance. Dogs that run around with ants" along with funny,simple pictures. Ideal for young children learning new descriptive words.
