5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent Victorian "sensation" novel, July 11, 2007

This review is from: Run to Earth (Paperback)
This book is full of intrigue and scheming, as a disinherited scoundrel and his mercenary friend plot to take over the family fortune. The novel also has interesting subplots involving secondary characters, that are all connected to the main story. If you liked "Lady Audley's Secret" or even "The Eustace Diamonds", you'll enjoy this book.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Read, July 19, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This is a well wriiten novel, with a number of characters and plots that are weaved together. Not until the end of the book do we find out the fate of each of them.
While this is a older book it is easily read with a few words that are out of date, but happily with the Kindle, a dictionary is at hand. I am going to read more books by this author.
