A cool, funky collection of indie rock songs
When I was watching the movie, I distinctly remember liking the songs that were chosen for the soundtrack, which led me to buying this disc. The selection is funky and fun, a mix of British rock bands, established names (Bowie) and home-grown rising stars from the likes of the state of Iowa. Most of the songs are cheery and uplifting, even when it's about "loving you less...

wtf?
all i gotta say is how can you have a soundtrack for a movie titled "run fatboy run" without the nine pound hammer song "run fatboy run"? weak!

When I was watching the movie, I distinctly remember liking the songs that were chosen for the soundtrack, which led me to buying this disc. The selection is funky and fun, a mix of British rock bands, established names (Bowie) and home-grown rising stars from the likes of the state of Iowa. Most of the songs are cheery and uplifting, even when it's about "loving you less and less". I took away one star rating only because I didn't like that the songs were interrupted by some dialogue recordings from the movie.
