5.0 out of 5 stars my bunny loves it
I have called my little boy "baby bunny" since one sleep deprived night soon after he was born. Now, just 2, it is still a nickname that slips out from time to time, and as such he LOVES this book. we have read "good night moon" every night at bedtime for 2 years, but this book has replaced the old favorite. He requests it every night and at nap time. Today, while we...

3.0 out of 5 stars Runaway Bunny
The book is nicely illustrated; however, it is not yet suitable for my 12 month old. It doesn't hold her attention at all, hopefully this will change as she ages. A nice book for her bookshelves in the meantime.

5.0 out of 5 stars Phenomenal Buy, February 16, 2006

My five month old and I love this book!!!! The pictures are priceless, and the story's wonderful. The graphics transition from B&W with text and then to full layout color pages. If you or your child enjoy Goodnight Moon, you should enjoy this one as well.

My only issue was with Amazon because they sent us a used book that someone wrote in, but they happily replaced it with another book (probably used as well but no writing this time).

4.0 out of 5 stars Book's Good, but the CD Rocks!!!, January 20, 2009
All the children to whom I have given this book enjoy it very much. However, I also always give the book along with the CD. With Brook Shields narrating, and wonderful music, the CD makes the book "read along" in a way that every child seems to really enjoy. I highly recommend the music/narrated version as well. Together, they are a great gift. I reall like the Brooke SHields/Glen Roven version.

1.0 out of 5 stars Terrible, July 22, 2010
This review is from: The Runaway Bunny (Hardcover)
The book and pictures are fine, but the story is awful. The mother bunny is totally smothering - give the kid some space! Just because the little rabbit needs some space doesn't mean the love is not there. The only part I like is when the mother turns into a tree. At least the little rabbit can choose to fly back instead of being constantly hounded! I have to explain to my kids (2 and 3 years old) that it is okay for them to want to be alone sometimes whenever I read this book to them (which is not often).
