`The Runaway` by Martina Cole was the first novel by Martina that I read. I took it on holiday one year and it was really ideal and such a great story. Since then I have read almost all of her other novels including `Ladykiller` which although gorey is one of those books that you cannot put down. I have given `The Runaway` as presents to friends and without doubt all of them have loved it and started to read Martina Cole. The books are harder to get in USA.

If you're into mafia and a little romance. This is the book for u! I'm not even done yet and completely in love. Martina Cole has vivid descriptions, and is on the ball.

Loved the book and the miniseries. Even though the TV was quite different from the book I loved them both. Can't wait for the DVD to come out of the miniseries and I will DEFINITELY buy it. It is something I would watch over and over again!
