This review is from: Runaway Wife (Hardcover)
PLOT: fragile Laura escapes her abusive husband only to have reclusive hunk next door become her friend~ excellentLaura travels to the outback Koomara Crossing to "hide out" from her manipulative abusive husband. she captures the interest of reclusive author mega hunk Evan Thompson. He has no idea she is married but can see she trusts NO one. as they become friends the romance is slowly building. Evan has his own reasons for not trusting women. so this couple not only have to learn "trust" but learn to love. as the romance builds and this couple we so very likeable. Dr. "abuser" husband of Laura slithers into Koomara Crossing determined to make Laura "pay" for leaving him. GREAT view of a abuser and good plot. I GIVE THIS 5 STAR all the way. I have read this one several times. one of Margaret Ways very BEST. ALSO try Boardroom Proposal and Gabriel's Angel by Way. Good story. |
