for those looking for the bar scene song look up the "zuker" remix on Limewire for "get ur freak on". Just type "zuker" under artist and it will be there eventually, I only got two hits but I finally got it after months of looking. Hope this helps anyone else still looking for it. Its the "Back in Black" remix.

A definite driving CD. Be careful! Once your windows are down and these electronic/latin rhythms are pumping, you'll find the gas pedal going down.

¿Did Harry did it Again?,
By
This review is from: The Rundown [Original Motion Picture Soundtrack] (Audio CD)
The Rundown is much a very different scorefrom Harry's past soundtracks. A few of the themes of fast pace tracks have a familiar effect as in Enemy of the State and Spy Game, but not too noticeable. The jungle theme was successfully introduced into the style of the movie. The score is doesn't have as much power driven in his previous works with Trevor Rabin and Hans Zimmer. But the flow and melody is necessary for the feel with the film. It is a very mellow soundtrack, most of the tracks are very easy on the ears. Dwyane Johnson followed his father, Rocky Johnson, in his footsteps into wrestling entertainment. Rocky was an mid 2nd generation wrestler in the business.

Good stick dubbing in music, even if has not seen the image, also can feel the jungle the strong atmosphere, in the special edition has all kinds of strange sound effect, lets person image profound dubbing in music, no matter is the guitar, loop, the stringed instruments, the sound effect, all are such happy, with really is just right, the quick rhythm part also is lets the person be surprised. Good

I was very pleased with the score to The Rundown. I bought it on a whim, and I was sure glad I did. The great thing about this album, is that you can leave it on at a party, its great background music. Gregson-Williams seems to take a bit from differnet music styles, electronica, kumbia, and traditional strings to make it a solid album. My one complaint is the lack of more of track one. Let me explain, track one, Coming Down, starts off fierce with a hypnotic electonica beat, unfortunately this beat only lasts a minute at the most. I would have liked to hear more of this beat as the theme for The Rundown.Great score, its good driving music and great to listen to at the end of a stressful day.

Just the musical score...,

This review is from: The Rundown [Original Motion Picture Soundtrack] (Audio CD)
After watching The Rundown I immediately went to buy the soundtrack. I wish that I would have looked at the songs on the soundtrack first, because I got it home and felt ripped off. It was just the instrumental score, none of the actual songs were on it. Yes the score was okay, but I wanted the songs like: Run that, The boogie that be, Get your freak on, etc. But no not a one of them on it. So read the song list before you buy this soundtrack.

Seriously, stop wasting review space on a CD that you're not going to review. Since I appear to be one of if not the only person here that's listened to this CD, I'll give a review of it. Gregson-Williams' score to The Rundown is some of the most enjoyable, wierd giddy fun you'll have listening to a score. The music is lightwieght, and even the drama in the music is played for kicks, but the action is what the CD is best at. This is a techno action score all the way, and if you're a fan of that I'd suggest to go buy this as soon as possible.

During the end of the movie, there's a song that says "Don't take your guns to town..." Does anyone know the full name of this song, and who sang it? It sounds alot like Johnny Cash. Email me at Direwolf31@hotmail.com. Thanks!
