About the Author

Nigel Jackson, born in 1963, lives in Manchester, England and is a well-known artist and illustrator specializing in the symbolism of Western Esoteric Tradition: he is deeply immersed in the traditional Tarot of 15th century Italy, the magical teachings of medieval-renaissance astrological magicians such as Ficino, Agrippa and Bruno and in bringing to life the talismanic images inherited from ancient sources of arcane lore such as the Arabian grimoire The Picatrix. As a professional Psychic, I use the runes as a tool, for focus. The use of runes are becoming more and more wide spread. After laying dormant for many generations in the western cultures, the runes were rediscovered and have become an icon in the metaphysical pop culture of today.

When I do readings for my clients, I use the rune stones and/or the rune cards. What ever befits the situation the best.

With proper rune interpretations and using them along with my psychic gifts, I do all of my work in what is called, "The White Light," and not of the dark side.

I have helped many persons with guidance and perspective. The runes are just a tool of focus.

This book is well written and displays much of the folk lore and useages and interpretations, from an age long forgotten.

It is uncanny, how these things can still be valid and fit into modern mans' life. A strong spiritual connection, wheether it is in mans earthly religion, the metaphysical world, or the spiritual world is still the basis for all of the happenings and circumstances in the world.

The art of rune casting and rune use, is clearly spelled out in this book. I would recommend it for beginners as well as advanced practioners. It never hurts to be able to put yourselves back to basics once in a while, so you can co a self exam and make sure that you are still on the right track or on the track you want to be on.

The Rune Oracle is comprehensive and so complete, and is done in such a fashion that you can instantly start using your runes.

I wouldn't delay using them, they'll have an instant impact on your life and your spiritual being.

the best divination tool I've ever used. I spent many years looking for something I could use comfortably and this is it, now and forever. It is a pitty that this set is now out of print but Witches Runes : Insights from the Old European Magickal Traditions is about the same. Beautiful full color cards and a complete guide on learning to use the runes. An exilent buy.

I have to admit that I was somewhat skeptical about this rune oracle set, but I received it as a Yule gift and I haven't been able to put it down for long. The cards are exquisite, as with the Nigel Jackson Tarot, and the accompanying text is refreshingly free of sheeple pablum. The authors provide spreads that are practical and I have had some very meaningful readings from them in the last week. Further, they delve into Gealdor, the art of rune magick. This is, to date, the best runic oracle I have found. Highly recommended.
