Usually I cannot recommend anything by Blum, however this is an exception. If you ignore most of the book and concentrate the work sheets you'll find that this book is worth having. However, try to grt it at the lowest price possible.

I must say that Ralph Blum is probably one of the most widely published and yet misinformed and inconsistent writers on the subject of Runes. I can't recommend his books, nor can I actually say anything good about them. Nice artwork maybe. His facts are not straight. He talks above your head and leaves you feeling, empty.
Not my choice of an informed book.

I found this book to be one of the best buys in my Runic Reading Collection, as I felt it gives some good ideas for the beginning Caster and I remember how important it was for me when starting out to dedicate myself to that daily rune reading. Writing it down in a book like this helps, and if you stick to it then quickly you learn to develop a very strong relationship with your Runes. I still love to look back on this book and all the readings I did.

It does not have a "lot" of information, as it is mostly to be used as a log book, but it is does have some beautiful artwork and inspirational ideas on how to use runes. Definately worth buying if you are starting out, or simply looking for a type of "Rune Journal"!
