I LOVED the game. I had no problem understanding after playing it awhile, however after getting through the 85th level, it just refused to come back up on my HPXP computer. So I wrote to the the company and they sent me a "free" download which came in a file format that I have to change to fit so the whole thing has been frustrating and disappointing. The game idea however is great, and I wish someone with brains would write a program that is as much fun as Runes of Avalon that would WORK in a computer :) Thanks for the oportunity to write this.

I find this game very enjoyable. One thing to keep in mind before purchasing it is to get a game controller. This will speed up play and move you along the course a lot faster.

after several rounds of play it makes my 3 month old Vista equipped Toshiba notebook freeze up. Have to remove battery to reboot. Not a terrible loss though.... the only good part was the puzzle picture jumble thing. The main game itself was rather boring. The elf babe is pretty sexy.

This game could be exciting if it came with instructions. It is a form of Tetris which unfortunately is not mentioned in the description on Amazaon. I can't really recommend this game.

I purchased Runes of Avalon and when I tried to play the game, the opening screen showed disjointed graphics with pixels all over the screen. The music played fine. This is the only game that does this on my machine (Mac Mini with all of the Mac updates done). I then downloaded the Runes of Avalon 2 demo, and it does the same thing. There are no graphics drivers or updates available for my machine. When I contacted support@anawiki.com on Nov. 8, 2011, I received no response.

The software does not run on a current (2010) vintage Macintosh with OS 10.6. I contacted the publisher (Encore) via their website to find out if there is a patch available but they did not respond to my message. Don't waste your money buying this game.

I liked this game at first but after playin 30 out of the 105 levels, I realized that I was just playing the same puzzles over and over again with different colors and pictures. It was really boring towards the end. After spending months on this, I finally got to level 105 --- the last level --- but did not manage to break the puzzle. Threw it in the trash because I was so bored! If you have patience and like repetitive processes, then this is a game for you! It was very painful to play.

Very nice game, well put together. Easy going at the beginnig, but more and more complicated on each next level. The sountrack dazzled me with its richness. Don't really need the story and plastic avatars, but the game itself is really really good. Runs on the mac flawlessly.

As a fan of Jewel quest and Yuma, I was disappointed with this game. Maybe I haven't got it yet, but I found it very boring and tedious.

I absolutely loved this game. The graphics were bright and interesting. I had trouble staying away from it. I would recommend this game to anyone who enjoys the match games. I also got part II I enjoyed this one so much.
