RUNNER'S WORLDis the world's leading running magazine, with 10 international editions and a global circulation of 3.5 million readers. It was Runner's World that helped to define and popularize this form of recreation and exercise and helped bring running culture into the mainstream. And today, when runners want information and advice on any aspect of their sport, they turn to Runner's World.
I borrowed this book from the library. After I read it, I liked it so much I purchased a copy. The book is short-- only 96 pages. However, it contains a lot of information for beginning and intermediate runners trying to get to the next level. It includes information on determining your own heart rate, appropriate amount of water to drink based on gender, weight, and difficulty of workout, foods that contribute to optimal performance, stretching exercises, and beginning and intermediate training programs for 5K, 10K, half-marathon, and marathon. It also has a handy index.
