This movies shows what most people dont know. The bond between biker brother & sisters. The bikers standing up for what is 'right'. Most people think that all bikers are OUTLAWS. Well, after seeing this movie, you will see bikers in a whole new light. Good acting, good story-line and Great looking 'scoots'. A definate for your "BIKER" collection.

5.0 out of 5 stars Bikers Get A Break, February 6, 2000
This review is from: Running Cool [VHS] (VHS Tape)
I thought Running Cool was a great movie. Bikers are always being displayed as outlaws. This movie comes together to show how bikers stick together as a family. The language is a little foul, but if you can look past that you will find that not all bikers are bad. They are everyday people just like you and me. You also have an added humor along with a romantic love story in here as well. It goes back to the old saying "You can't judge a book by it's cover".

4.0 out of 5 stars A good flick, July 2, 1999

What a fun film. I love that it was directed by real bikers. I also recommend seeing the making of this film. Yes some of the acting leaves a little to be desired but DeeDee Phifer (Michelle's little sister) does a great job. All bikers should check it out.

5.0 out of 5 stars if you want a sexy leading man..., May 4, 2000

This is an amazing action movie about bikers. Andrew Divoff is so incredibly sexy! Watch the movie just for him! It's got a romantic story, action, cool bikes, and a great storyline overall. Definitely a great watch! Again, Andrew Divoff is amazing. Not too many guys look so amazing in a pair of tight jeans. His buddy, Bubba, while having an expansive waistline, and lots of tattoos, has a very big heart. Buy this movie!

4.0 out of 5 stars A true showpiece of loyality, brotherhood and finding love., May 15, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Running Cool [VHS] (VHS Tape)
One of the best movies I've seen that depicts the brotherhood of the biker culture. This movie contains it all: helping friends, dealing with your past, finding your future, saving the Earth and having one hell of a time doing it in style, on a Harley and with your Bro. Some good laughs and action. This movie may be called a "B" movie with some first timers to the screen but it gives a true view of the brotherhood of being a biker. Adult language and mild nudity. Must see for the biker at heart!

I don't remember where I first saw this movie, but I enjoyed it, the bikes, and how it breaks the stereotype of bikers being all bad. They show the wet T-shirt contest at the start of the movie so they can show bare breasts and get their R-rating, but after that, it is nudity free for anyone worried about watching it with their kids. The villain was one of those types that keeps getting his butt kicked and doesn't take the hint, but I think he finally did in the end. The only issue I have with the movie is the main theme, that being how Bone and Bear go down to help Ironbutt raise money for his property taxes. The put on a big bike run and loads of people come and they raise the funds. The problem is that during the story line where Bone and the local girl are getting to know each other, some of the guys give her what looks to be a Fatboy Trike. If they had just sold that one bike, the could have more than paid for the taxes. Of course, that would deflate the story with no need for the run so I understand why they didn't think of that. Wish this would come out on DVD. I had to digitize my old VHS copy and it is watchable, but no where the quality I would like.

I have loved this movie since I first saw it almost fifteen years ago. What a shame, we will probably never see it on DVD. If you have never seen it, I would recommend it!

5.0 out of 5 stars One of the best out there, April 28, 2009
By
This review is from: Running Cool [VHS] (VHS Tape)
Running Cool is one of the best out there. No colors, just men from the road who have met either at one rally or the next. They get the word out to two wheelers across the country that Iron butt needs some back up to save his land. They throw a run to raise money and fight when they have to. In the end it all works out with a campground for bikers in the wetlands of SC.
