Made for TV, but surprisingly good, October 16, 2004
This was one of those, Saturday night movies that was made for one of the networks. I had a video tape of it where I recorded it. The quality of the recording sucked, but the movie wasn't half bad.
Billy Zane and Kim Catrall play the lead roles in which a secret agent (Catrall) is brutally gunned down by a man she's trying to steal information from. She's left for dead but found by Zane. The government turns what's left of her into a bionic woman, no pun intended. It's much like the show 'Bionic Woman', actually. The movie spends most of it's time following Catrall as she learns to cope with what's happened to her. This aspect of the film, I thought, was well done.
Even though this is a special order only, I think it's a pretty decent flick to add to an action/sci-fi fans collection.

MY EYES!!!, January 11, 2007
This review is from: Running Delilah [VHS] (VHS Tape)
I half remembered watching part of this this movie when it was on TV and thought it was worth a buck and a half.
90 minutes and two dollars poorer, I am looking for some acid to wash the terrible images out of my eyes.
Disadvantages - Kim Catrall as essentially "The Bionic Woman" the dialog is bad. Catrall and Zayne act as hard as they can trying to rescue a script that is not up to their Thespian Abilities. The Science is somewhere past Stupid, ther Fiction is very poorly executed.
Advantages - Kim Catrall in tight clothing. I'm told you can see more of her in uncut episodes of "Sex and the City" obviating this Advantage.
By existing, the plastic in this Video Cassette binds up some carbon, thereby making a small contribution to delaying global warming. If I bury this horrible tape in my back yard then I will have sequested some Carbon and perhaps saved future generations from accidentlly viewing it.
Avoid this.
