Her talent on the court was apparent at an early age and when she was invited to play on the high school varsity team as a twelve year old! This created a bitter division between her divorced parents as her mother did not want her to play. The adventures that follow are enlightening to any family involved with a talented youngster.
She was named to every All-American team in the country. The bond between father and daughter grew stronger. But Kaz missed her mom and the two made amends. She moved back into her mother's house at age 16.
