4.0 out of 5 stars Good Beginner to Intermediate book, April 29, 1999

This review is from: Running Microsoft PowerPoint 97 (Select Editions) (Paperback)
Not a bad book if you are looking for a book that can get you started with Powerpoint, and take you all the way to a custom presentation. Not great if you are looking to incorporate Visual Basic or ActiveX controls in your presentation. Don't be fooled by Chapter 19's title, it really has very little to do with automating PowerPoint with VB. It is more an introduction to macros. Overall though, I'm not sorry to have it on my bookshelf. It's a good reference. And the CD works great.
