Awsome book!(sad at some points=(,
This review is from: Running with the Reservoir Pups (Eddie and the Gang with No Name) (Paperback)
Awesome book! Running with the reservoir pups. This is a really good book I think. I don't usually read books bout the title looked interesting because I wondered who would run from puppies but as I got into the book I saw that the reservoir pups were a gang. I learned this because of the main character Alex, his parents got divorced him and his mom moved away and that's when he met the reservoir pups. The first time he met them they scammed him. Then they asked him to join him but they asked him to do one thing first while he was doing that he over heard about something bad that was going to happen. While he tried to stop it no one believed him. Then he tries to go find the missing babies that were kidnapped. I don't want to spoil it so I will stop. It's a really interesting book; I think a lot of people could relate to part of the main character because of what happen to his family. I liked this book a lot I can't wait until I get the second one. The booked really gets you hooked; I even got in trouble sometimes because I wouldn't go to sleep because I was reading. If you like books that have kidnapping and all that this is a good book but kind of sad when they kidnap the babies.

Great Book,

This book should appeal to kids who like the Series of Unfortunate Events. It's quite different, but has the same feeling of adventurous kids handling powerfully dangerous things in spite of some evil adults. It's way fun to read.

Molly's Reviews
The Review Irish writer Colin Bateman presents an exhilarative, spine tingling work filled with all the zestful agitation, whimsical cast of characters and explosive tension necessary to hold the target audience absorbed from beginning paragraph to ending lines. Eddie & the Gang with No Name: Running with the Reservoir Pups is a well-written publication filled with generously drawn players and a cleverly interwoven, precarious story line. The setting for the book is England, and some of the language used will have an English flavor which kids will find intriguing. Enjoyed the read, happy to recommend.
