This review is from: Running Things: The Art of Making Things Happen (Hardcover)
This book by Phil Crosby, a prolific writer on management and quality from the 80's, has quite a few tidbits of wisdom. I tend to view Crosby as a management guru in quality guru's clothing, and his management focused books tend to be better than his quality focused ones.
The reader would probably be served to looking through the "Guidelines for Browsers" section at the end of the book first. This section, a staple in Crosby's books, provides a list of quotes and "soundbites" summarizing the contents by page. While the material is getting dated, the principles remain timeless - a good read for the new manager, or for the business leader looking for some timeless wisdom.
