“Running towards Us indeed! The contributors to Isabel Balseiro's collection of creative writing from post-apartheid South Africa bring out an urgency, a sense of direction, and a compelling engagement for their readers, "us," a renewed version of the spirit that once animated the anti-apartheid movement and now inspired the impetus toward a new global political and cultural formation at the turn of the century.”–
Barbara Harlow, Professor in the English Department, University of TexasAustin“A lively collection that brings together new and established writers. For a sense of the temper of the times in South Africa, this is the book to read.”–
