STRONGER AND MORE DAZZLING THAN Swarovski Crystal. ~~ Featuring a hand-carved wooden wolf charm, this bracelet is made with special patterned sterling silver chain and a beautifully detailed sterling silver heart toggle. The toggle is fastened to the premium-quality chain of 4 x 4.5mm patterned ringlets with 4.5mm split rings (think mini keyrings) making the bracelet strong and resistant to breakage. A dazzling 10mm, 6.5 carat cubic zirconia heart, custom cut for Runs with Vampires, is securely wire-wrapped to one side of the bracelet with sterling silver wire, a sterling silver bali bead, and two 2mm Swarovski crystal rounds. A custom hand-carved, 3-d, wooden wolf charm is securely attached to the opposite side of the bracelet with a sterling silver headpin. The wooden wolf shows nice detail, and is smoothly sanded and lightly stained for a subtle russet finish.

This bracelet is beautifully made and the craftsmanship shines through. Aside from being a nice token of the story, it can stand on its own as a tasteful charm bracelet even if you weren't intimate with the story.

I love that:

1. There is a choice of lengths, which is rare and while I could have worn any bracelet of an average length, it is so nice to be able to have the smaller length that fit my wrist perfectly.

2. The materials used are sterling silver, real hand-carved wood, and Swarovski crystal. Doesn't feel like cheap costume jewelry.

3. The sterling silver links have a patterned finish (not just polished/shiny which would be boring), and the beautiful heart toggle clasp is a detail that really makes this bracelet special.

However, as with anything we love and give a thought for, there's room for improvement:

1. The crystal heart could have more facets to closer resemble what was described in the book. Also would like to see some kind of a mounting rather than silver wire through a hole drilled through the crystal.

2. For the price (which is high but not unreasonable for the amount of work and care put into making this), I would have expected the chain to be a bit more substantial.

The crystal is REAL and the wolf is WOOD!!! It is really beautiful and is exactly as I imagined it in Eclipse! I wear it all the time and also like the fact that it is REAL SILVER!! I would purchase it again with no reservations at all!!!

I purchased this item from Runs with Vampires at a convention and it is a REAL WOODEN wolf, not plastic as someone else has commented. The heart on mine is a cubic zirconia. Some are crystal, but they are definitely NOT PLASTIC. I love my bracelet, the heart is so sparkly and the little wolf is so cute. You can tell the wolf is carved from wood, it feels and looks like wood. I would recommend this to any Twilight fans, as they won't be disappointed.
