Good in depth read on Rupert Murdoch,

Very interesting read. This biography goes into a lot of detail about Murdoch's first few decades in business - 50's to the end of the 80's.
Very interesting insights into the man who created the most powerful media company in the world. This biography stands out compared to the others I have read, as the author has talked personally to a lot of people who dealt with Murdoch over the years. Jerome also has the benefit of writing this after having had a personal interview with Murdoch. The only downside is it was written at the end of the 80's, so it doesn't get to cover some of the most exciting times in the life of Murdoch. I'd thoroughly recommend this book to anyone who has an interest in Rupert Murdoch, or The News Corporation. |
