This unique text focuses on emergency response to agricultural accidents. Many pertinant topics are discussed including farm machinery, animal hazards, incident command, etc.

There are few good sources of information on this important topic, this is one. While the author ocassionally is tunnel-visioned regarding the problem solving skills possessed by modern rescue personnel, the book is generally precise, modern and well-researched.

Farming accidents are common (agriculture is the most dangerous industry in the country), and almost always present emergency crews with unique challenges. Those challenges can be life-threatening not only for the accident victim, but the rescuers as well. This book presents information that is quite useful in improving patient care and the safety of the responders.
