Okay, but not as good as imported plushies,

I collect anime plushies (commonly referred to as UFO catchers due to the machines they come out of) and I can say that this domestic market plushie is not as adorable as the imported Japanese Kenshin plushies I have. I collect Kenshin plushies and have all five of the official Japanese plushies (3 standard size and two keychain size) and two custom one-of-a-kind Kenshin plushies too. I bought this to continue my Kenshin plushie collection and while it does not look like it will fall apart (like my GE Inu Yasha did) it does not look as good next to my other plushies. I bought it because it was on sale. If quality is not important to you (ie, you just want a Kenshin plush) go for this one. If you want to spend more money, be patient finding one and end up with a better plush, scour eBay for an official Japanese one.
In regards to the stock photo, Kenshin's scar is not as dark as it seems (it is in fact fleshtoned- red sharpie to the rescue!) and the hair spike on top of his head is not as big as it appears. He does have a string on his head for hanging like many UFO Catchers do, which is a nice touch.

I'm a plushie geek and I usually end up buying at least one from each of my favorite series. After searching and poking around Ebay and even visiting Nan Desu Con in Denver in search of additions for my some-what obsessive collection, I found that this one was actually one of the better ones made. The big reason why I liked it so much was because of the accurate coloring. He just isn't Kenshin without the bright orange-red hair. The pink top is also a nice touch. Many I found were of Kenshin with a more subdued, brownish red on his head, kind of like the OVA's. They were alright, but they didn't remind me of the happy-go-lucky nature of the series like this one did.
A purchase on Amazon will save you from being over-charged in a convention, or having to battle it out in an auction too, which is a major plus. Sometimes, it's worth waiting to look around at your other plushie options, but I'd really recommend stopping here. It's definitly worth it if you're a fellow plushie geek.

was not as big as I expected but none the less he was worth the price. I could not find him anywhere else but here, would have liked him in a bigger size but quality is good, they do hold up to light wash on gentle cycle.
