These shoes are dope. A substitute for someone looking for a Common Projects, Bottega Venetta, Story et Fall, YSL look for a fraction of the price. Who wants to spend $500+ on boots when you can snag these and save hundreds. Sneakerheads: The height of them on foot is great, and the ankle openings are nice and tight, not loose at all.
These are Chelsea boots, the fitting on this style of boot is not average compared to other shoes. Generally with Chelsea style boots you size down (depending on the brand). I am normally a size 8.5us in sneakers, so I opted to go with an 8us for these and they fit perfectly. I may have even pulled off the 7.5us, but I wear orthotics and will probably wear thicker socks with this. I'd recommend sizing down .5 or even a full size if you're feeling bold. Be aware that this shoe is suede, and suede stretches over time. I'd also recommend (with any suede shoes/boots) buying some suede water and stain protectant spray and giving them a few coats before ever wearing them. Kiwi Select 'All Protector' is what I use and it's great. The suede is grey and will show every mark and stain if you rock them straight out of the box.
