ok, i haven't even heard this cd--i just watched the movie and the 2 of the songs that intrigued me (TUCKER's "don't stop..." and ST GERMAIN's "so flute") aren't on the soundtrack...ok, that happens sometimes but what irks me is the spate of recent soundtracks that say "music from and INSPIRED BY"--what is THAT about?? people wanna buy the cd's for songs they heard in the film, don't they? first there was the controversy of songs used in trailers not showing up in the film or on the cd, and now THIS! but the thing is, this particular cd doesn't even warn u that alot of these tunes have nothing to do with the movie! it's just stupid, if u ask me....i don't understand it....

Although this soundtrack has some explict language, it's still very good! It has some very upcoming and popular artists, including the most famous singer in Japan! Hikaru Utada. (I'm not kidding, you can ask ANY Japanese person in Japan who she is and they'll know who you're talking about) Japanese music is getting fairly popular on movie soundtracks now... I suspect, because I noticed that the Final Fantasy soundtrack also had a famous Japanese Rock band playing in it.Hikaru Utada is possibly the ONLY reason why I got this soundtrack, but I was surprised that this soundtrack was as good as it was. I recommend this to any R&B fan.

LOVIN THE NEW VIBE,

I AM REALLY IMPRESSED WITH THE VARIATION OF MUSIC ON THIS CD. CHRISTINA MILLIAN HAS A GREAT TRACK ON THE NEW SOUNDTRACK. BUT I AM REALLY LOVING THE MERCEDES BENZ TRACK BY SAY YES. THIS SONG HAS A MIX OF R&B AND OLD SCHOOL ROCK. THE SINGING IS INCREDIBLE AND I HOPE I GET TO HERE MORE OF THESE GUYS. I CAN'T WAIT TO HERE MORE FROM BOTH ARTISTS!

Chris and Jackie Did It Again,
A Kid's Review
This review is from: Rush Hour 2 [Clean Version] (Audio CD)
With the release of Rush Hour 2 (Coming in August 3) comes the soundtrack to it. Ludacris comes on his fellow ATL buddy's soundtrack and drops a huge hit called Area Codes featuring Nate Dogg, which is the first song a arguablly the best song on this CD. The album brings forth massive rap artists such as Musiq, Redman, MethodMan, LL Cool J and other that will prove to have huge powerful background music for Jackie's stunt moves. This soundtrack will have to work overtime because American Pie 2 will also be released that day. Rush Hour though is definatley better than AP2 because of the strong rap sense in the album. You'll probably see me online or at WhereHouse music at midnight July 31. I'll be the first one to buy it!!!
